Jessica Simpson celebrated her 30th birthday in style at the new 103,000-square-foot casino at Greenbrier, a historic resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

Also in attendance at the casino’s grand opening were West Virginia native Jennifer Garner, hubby Ben Affleck, Debbie Reynolds, Brooke Shields, Shaquille O’Neal and Lionel Ritchie who dedicated his song “Three Times a Lady” to the birthday girl during his grand opening concert.

This five-star resort has a long and storied history. It opened way back in 1778 and has hosted 26 presidents, the Prince of Wales, Bob Hope and Joe and Rose Kennedy who honeymooned there in 1914. The 6,500-acre estate nestled in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains offers cooking classes (the first in the country to offer them), a meditation trail, a falconry academy and an afternoon tea and concert that has been held daily since 1931.

There’s also croquet and horseback riding and the spa’s holistic treatments revolve around the naturally sulfurous water and mineral springs that attracted guests in the first place. Find out more at www.greenbrier.com.
